Host Monsignor Farrell had three individual champions and Curtis had two winners at the 25th Annual Dave Ironman Invitational Saturday.

The Lions failed to defend their team title from 2008 — that trophy went to Rocky Point, which put up and impressive 273.5 points behind five individual winners — but got wins from Joe Francolino (130 pounds), Tony Carlo (145) and Ben Villaret (152).

All three Lions were runner-up at the Ironman a year ago, but all made good this season, with seniors Villaret and Carlo doing so in their final chance as seniors.

Francolino, a junior, can come back to defend his title next year.

Curtis seniors Robby Zyko (112) and Kemar Shuriah (215) were also first-time individual champions at the Ironman.

Zyko vanquished Farrell’s Paul Schianodicola in the day’s only all-Staten Island final, 9-0.

Schianodicola, along with Lions teammate Chris Amendola (96), Susan Wagner’s Luke Traub (113) and Curtis’ James Holden (160) all took home runner-up medals at the tournament.

Amendola’s road was a little tougher than the rest, as he scored a reversal in the final seconds of his semifinal bout with RP’s Connor O’Gallagher to win 11-9 and advance to the finals, but he was pinned by Ardsely’s Drew Longo in 2:48.

Island native Ryan Pierce of Poly Prep won the 285-pound class with a 12-4 win over Fordham Prep’s Max Kinder.

Rocky Point’s Thomas Dutton (103 champ) was the Ironman’s Most Outstanding Wrestler while RP’s 189 pound winner, Peter Vivonetto, was named the “Wrestler’s Wrestler” winner.

The Lions were second with 193 team points, followed by St. Benedict’s (181.5), Curtis (93) and Ardsley (66) in the top five.

St. Joseph by-the-Sea was sixth with 58 points and St. Peter’s finished seventh with 54. Tottenville (34 points) was 11th, Susan Wagner (33) 12th, Farrell Gold (22) 14th and Port Richmond (nine) 20th in the 23-team field.
